Independent Tutoring and Education programmes for children excluded from school in the UK
At Fresh Start in Education we specialise in the re-engagement of students who have been excluded from school or are out of education. This includes students who are at risk of exclusion or have already been permanently or temporarily excluded, school refusers, young offenders, those with emotional or behavioural difficulties, serious health issues or those who are generally disengaged from education. We work with all ages from early years through to adult.
We provide bespoke, child-centred, high quality education programmes, which ensure that all the students that we work with have outstanding opportunities to re-integrate into regular or specialist education. We provide the encouragement and tools for students to develop and apply the knowledge, skills and understanding that will help them become successful at learning, confident as individuals and to live productive and responsible lives.
"Thank you for all of the support offered for Andrew to be integrated back into school. He has been served well by Fresh Start and the workers individually. It has been very helpful to have the feedback so detailed regarding Andrew’s education and provision. He has enjoyed the activities and individual educational opportunities offered, which have been tailored for his needs and the Education Specialists have worked hard to ensure that Andrew has been fully engaged during the 3 months. Regards to you all."
"I am very grateful to Fresh Start for Kids and the support of their Education Specialist for their flexibility, commitment and absolute professionalism. It has been a real pleasure to work with them all in making provision this term for some the young people in our borough with very challenging circumstances."

"Fresh Start is offering a very good support package for Harry and we are very impressed by how he has changed through the support that is provided by the placement and Fresh Start for Kids. From the reports I’ve read and evidence I’ve seen the Education Specialists are doing a great job at engaging Harry into academic work, which would be difficult for anyone because of Harry’s needs and is vital for him to keep up with the curriculum."
"In the time that I have been working with Fresh Start for Kids, I have found them efficient, communicative and a pleasure to work with. They are very creative in their approach not only on a ground level with the tutors but on a management level too. They are one of the best providers I have ever worked with."

"This was her first real success in engaging in something educational for some time so I really do appreciate that you have made some significant inroads with her."
"Thank you for all your support in tutoring M without which M may not have managed her complex issues or been able to sit her GCSE's. You have been totally committed to dealing with M's case and I am aware that your input has been above and beyond that of the basic tutoring, including supporting M's mother. I am certain that your commitment has been the key factor in this intervention being so successful.
I am sure M has done really well in her exams but more so she has managed to get through this very difficult phase of her education / life and is in the process of securing a college placement for September 2014."
Alternative Provision (TBAP)
We accept all students and will continue to work with a student, whatever their attitude or behaviour, unless it is apparent that they would benefit from another or different form of specialisation, which we will always refer to the person or body that commissioned our services.
We work with Local Authorities, Schools and Private Individuals – parents or adoptive parents.
We are a UK WIDE provision – we go anywhere – anytime – in England, Wales, Scotland or Ireland. We deliver our services wherever the student is, so no matter how disengaged or hostile to education we will meet them where they are and work from there. If you would like more information about our independent tutoring and education programmes, please feel free to call our head office on 0203 409 6410.
