I am sure we have all heard the saying “You can’t control what happens to you, but you can control your response”, and it seems very apt for the times we are in.
It is easy right now to feel like everything is out of our control, with many decisions being made nationally and locally that directly impact our lives and the lives of our children/students.
Focusing on all the things that we cannot do anything about takes up time and energy. It leaves us depleted and unable to be kind to ourselves and compassionate to others.
Here’s some good news though, for everything you can’t control there is normally something you can control instead.
We are sharing Dr Tina Rae’s “Find Your Calm Plan” because we think it contains some great points for focusing on the things you can control.
