Course overview
This course explores behaviour through a relational, developmental and nervous system lens, helping staff understand what behaviour may be communicating beneath the surface. Participants will examine the role of relationships, emotional safety and adult responses in shaping behaviour, engagement and learning. Practical strategies are provided to support immediate classroom application.
How does it work?
Rather than asking “What’s wrong with this child?”, this course encourages staff to explore “What is this behaviour communicating?”. Through a relational approach, participants develop a deeper understanding of behaviour and gain practical tools that strengthen connection whilst maintaining clear boundaries and expectations.
