Course overview
This comprehensive Level 2 safeguarding course explores the key principles, responsibilities and procedures that underpin effective safeguarding practice. Participants develop a deeper understanding of abuse, neglect, exploitation, contextual safeguarding, child-on-child abuse and professional reporting responsibilities. The course is aligned to current safeguarding expectations within education settings.
How does it work?
The course is built around a simple safeguarding framework: Notice, Listen, Reassure, Record, Report and Escalate. Participants explore realistic safeguarding scenarios and develop the knowledge required to recognise concerns, respond appropriately and follow safeguarding procedures confidently and effectively.
